CHICAGO — André 3000's first tour as a solo act will include performances on three separate nights in Chicago.
The former OutKast member, whose real name is André Lauren Benjamin, will perform music from his recently released 'New Blue Sun' album, which features instrumental flute music.
Next month, André 3000 takes the stage for a sold-out show at Thalia Hall on Feb. 12. The Grammy Award winner will perform at the Salt Shed the next night. Tickets are still available for the Feb. 13 show.
On Feb. 15, the rapper/actor will play two sold-out shows at the Garfield Park Conservatory. Potential concert-goers can subscribe to a newsletter to learn if additional tickets will be released. Walk-up tickets are expected to be available.
'New Blue Sun' was a break from the music that put André 3000 and Big Boi on the map as part of 'OutKast.' Released on Nov. 20, 2023, the 87-minute album was André 3000's first in 17 years.
The limited-city tour begins in Brooklyn on Jan. 29 and includes two stops in nearby Detroit.
