CHICAGO -- Two of the best indie rock bands will be teaming up this fall to tour North America, including a stop in the Windy City.
Cage The Elephant will bring their "Neon Pill Tour" to the Credit Union 1 Arena at the University of Illinois Chicago on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
The upcoming tour will follow the release of their sixth studio album with the same name. The record will be released on Friday, May 17.
The band from Kentucky won two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album after 2015's "Tell Me I'm Pretty" and 2019's "Social Cues." With nearly 15 million monthly listeners on Spotify Music, their hit songs "Cigarette Daydreams" and "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" have close to 1.5 billion streams.
Young The Giant and Bakar will be special guests during the North America tour, including the Chicago stop.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
