CHICAGO — Chance the Rapper is set to headline a special benefit concert in April at the historic South Side music venue he helped reopen.
The Chicago native will perform at a one-night-only event on Saturday, April 13, at the Ramova Theatre on the city's South Side for SocialWorks, the youth empowerment charity founded by the 30-year-old rapper and singer-songwriter.

All proceeds will go to SocialWorks.
Last month, Chance the Rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett, performed at the Ramova Theatre. He, alongside fellow Chicago natives Jennifer Hudson and Quincy Jones, became co-owners of the long-vacated property last November.
Founded in 2016, SocialWorks aims to empower youth through arts, education and civic engagement.
