Comedian Matt Rife took to his personal Instagram account Wednesday to announce new dates for tour stops in Chicago and Nashville, as well as thank fans for their well wishes and support after battling a bout of physical exhaustion that led to him postponing shows at the end of May.
"First I wanted to say thank you so much for all the well wishes, I'm working on getting better and can't wait to come back shortly and give you the best possible shows that you deserve," Rife wrote in a post on Instagram. "Having to reschedule shows broke my f****** heart and I hate it, but I deeply appreciate your understanding and wanted to update you on those."
Rife said his Chicago shows have been rescheduled for Dec. 26-27, 29 and 30, while his Nashville shows at The Ryman will be moved to a new venue because The Ryman did not have any availabilities to reschedule until June 2025. The comedian said an announcement with official Nashville dates is "coming very soon."
Rife also said ticketholders who purchased tickets from his website for his rescheduled shows at The Ryman will be sent a presale email so they have first opportunities to get tickets at the new venue.
