CHICAGO - Chance the Rapper is set to perform at the historic South Side music venue that he helped reopen.
The Chicago native, whose real name is Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, will take the stage at the Bridgeport-area venue on Friday, Feb. 16.
Showtime is set for 7 p.m.

"I can't wait to kick things off next month with a historic hometown concert at the newly restored Ramova Theatre,” Chance the Rapper said Wednesday. “The Ramova has played an integral part in Chicago's renowned arts culture and I'm thrilled we're bringing it back to showcase the best of my city’s artistry."
Tickets will first be available for presale beginning Thursday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Friday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m.
Last November, Quincy Jones, Jennifer Hudson, and the 30-year-old rapper and singer-songwriter were announced as new co-owners of the Ramova Theatre.

“I joined the team at Ramova to give back to the city that’s given me so much and to provide a stage to showcase the incredible talent Chicago has to offer,” he told the Chicago Sun-Times.
The concert is Chance the Rapper's first since headlining the United center last year.
